1. Who we are
This website (www.signshop.co.ke) is run by Pixel ADS Company Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Kenya, located at Mpaka Plaza, 2nd Floor, Room 206, Nairobi. We design, make, deliver and install signage for businesses and individuals across Kenya.
2. Who can order
By placing an order you confirm that:
- you are 18 years or older;
- you are legally able to enter into a binding contract, or are authorised to order for the business you name.
The contract between you (“the client”) and us is formed when you pay for an order on this website, or when you accept our quotation, proforma invoice or issue us a local purchase order (LPO).
3. Your account
You need an account to check out. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, so keep your email account secure; you are responsible for orders placed from your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend accounts used for fraud or misuse. Orders our team creates for you appear in the account for the email address you give us.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are in Kenya Shillings (KSh) and include 16% VAT.
- Installation is charged as shown when you choose it. Delivery outside pickup is confirmed by our team before dispatch.
- Prices may change when material costs change. A change never affects an order that is already paid or a quotation you have already accepted.
- Online payments (M-Pesa, Airtel Money and cards) are processed by iPay Africa. We never see or store your card number or M-Pesa PIN.
- Work starts once the order is paid in full, unless we agree other terms in writing (for example an LPO).
- We may cancel orders that remain unpaid.
5. Design and artwork approval
We prepare a design or proof for your approval before production, or produce from the artwork you supply. Before you approve, check every detail: spelling, names, numbers, logo, colours, sizes and layout. Once you approve, we produce exactly what was approved and are not responsible for errors in the approved content. We remain responsible for the quality of materials and workmanship.
6. Content you provide
Text, logos and images you give us must be accurate and lawful in Kenya. They must not be:
- defamatory, offensive, hateful or discriminatory;
- sexually explicit, or promoting violence or illegal activity;
- misleading to the public;
- logos, trademarks or designs you do not own or have permission to use.
We may refuse or stop work on content that breaks these rules. You are responsible for any claim arising from content you supply.
7. Permits, approvals and site readiness
- Unless we agree in writing to handle them, you are responsible for permits and approvals for your sign: county advertising licences, landlord or building management consent, and NCA or NEMA requirements where they apply.
- For installation, give our team safe access to the site on the agreed date, a wall or structure able to carry the sign, and a power point for illuminated signs.
- If the site is not ready, or hidden conditions (such as a weak wall) need extra work, we agree a new date and quote any extra work before doing it.
8. Production, delivery and installation
Production starts after payment and design approval. Lead times we give are estimates that depend on the size and quantity of the order. You can collect from our office in Nairobi free of charge, or we deliver to the address you give us anywhere in Kenya. Installation dates are agreed with you by phone. We contact you about your order by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email.
9. Quality and colour
Colours on screens differ from colours on acrylic, vinyl, metal and LED-lit faces, so slight variations from what you see on screen are normal. Give us Pantone colour codes if an exact match matters. If a sign differs from the approved design or has a workmanship defect, we correct it at no cost as set out in our Return Policy.
10. Risk and ownership
Items become your responsibility when you collect them or they are delivered to you. For signs we install, this is when installation is complete. Ownership passes to you once the order is paid in full.
11. Cancellations, refunds and returns
You can cancel for a full refund only before work on your order has started. Once work has started, we complete and deliver the order and no refund is due. See the Refund Policy and Return Policy for details.
12. Liability
Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost business or profit, or for damage caused by accidents, misuse, alterations or electrical work by others, or events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012.
13. Using this website
Do not try to access accounts or areas that are not yours, interfere with the website, or copy its content and product photos in bulk. Website text, photos and designs belong to Pixel ADS Company Limited unless stated otherwise.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If something goes wrong, contact us first and we will try to resolve it. Disputes that cannot be resolved are decided by the courts of Kenya.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and our policies at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page and do not apply to orders already paid. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.
